Greg Goold has been working as a lawyer for over forty-four years, and specialises in a wide range of cases. He lends his expertise to complex cases such as murder or large drug importation trials, to violence offences and bail applications. He instructs extremely experienced Queen's Counsel and Senior Counsel when he is needed to appear in Supreme Court and District Court trials. 

Julie Nguyen

Julie is an experienced thorough and diligent criminal defence lawyer with extensive experience in criminal law in the Local Court, District Court, Supreme Court and Court of Criminal Appeal.

Combined with a strong work ethic and keen eye for detail, she has advised and appeared for clients in a broad spectrum of matters which include AVO proceedings, bail applications, serious assault, drug supply and importation matters.

Julie has also worked with both Junior and Senior Counsel in many complex State and Commonwealth trials.

Her expertise and interest lies in New South Wales and Australian Crime Commission matters involving the recovery of alleged proceeds of crime. You can be assured that Julie always aims to get the best results for her clients. Julie acts for a vast range of client including those in custody, private fee matters and also Legal Aid assignments granted to our firm.

Paige Mortimer

Practice Manager

In this role Paige works closely with Mr Goold and assists all of our criminal defence lawyers in the development and management of the firm’s administrative operations and procedures. Paige also keeps track of the diary and liaises with clerks and chambers in respect of the briefing of Counsel and Senior Counsel.

Paige is a highly organised and motivated legal secretary and Practice Manager.
